Dodge Challenger Super Sport Concept

I know the news around here is slow going but as we get closer to production of the Challenger I am sure news will pick up. This time I have a juicy piece of information from Edmunds Inside Line of a Dodge Challenger Super Sport that will be unveiled at the 2006 SEMA show in Las Vegas. Chrysler has declined to give any more details only that a Challenger SS Concept of the Challenger concept will be unveiled. The SEMA Show is the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world which is held in Las Vegas every year. This year the event is scheduled for October 31-November 3.

Don’t be stupid, obviously this pic is a fake, it’s been altered.
Dodge does not make “Super Sport” versions of anything, Chevy has SS models of their cars, Dodge typically has R/T or T/A or more recently SXT versions of their cars.
There is not, and never will be, a SS dodge anything…get a clue.

Of course it’s fake, I made the picture myself. I am only writing about what Edmunds Inside Line posted on their site.

Here’s your clue, Dodge Guy: Challenger Super Sport is in fact what they’re calling it, but only for the SEMA show. Read between the lines when you see it. Look for an all-new big Hemi with 550 hp and a six-speed manual, as well as some interesting cosmetic touches. Under the show car glitz this is a preview of the SRT Challenger. 6.1 may end up being an option on the R/T, with SRT getting this bigger beast. Pictures should hit soon — tomorrow, maybe. Enjoy.

dodge needs to build the challenger were as you can put 15″ wheel rite on the car.A lot of people like the look of the 15″ wheels like draglite or streetstars.mustang already as this proleum.the 17′’,18′’ or even 20′’ are ok but I like the old school look. and on a new challenger that would be great .And I would buy a new challenger ,can’t wait drive one over to the malt shop.I’m 54 years old and I can remember cruising in my 1970 challenger.
