It’s Official: Dodge Challenger Is A Go

ChallengerAnnouncement2.jpg

In my previous post I mentioned the announcement was all just a formality and Chysler Group President and CEO Tom LaSorda made it official by letting the public know the “Challenger Is A Go” prior to the start of the Pepsi 400 NASCAR race at Daytona International Speeday in Daytona, FL. Richard Petty and Kasey Kahne were on hand to watch Chief Operating Officer Eric Ridenou, drive out the all-new Dodge Challenger.

It’s been a long 35 years since the last Challenger was built and you can bet Mopar fans around the world are starting to countdown the days until this resurected model hits the road. The all-new Dodge Challenger will make it’s debut as a 2008 model.  The Challenger will feature a long hood, short deck, wide stance and the two-door coupe body style like the Challengers of the 70’s.
