I was told by my local Dodge salesman deposits for the '09 Challenger SRT8 will be accepted sometime in August this year, taking delivery sometime in late September/early October. The '08 model SRT8's were going for $15,000 over sticker on eBay, however, the '09 will be a better and faster car. With the 6 speed manual you get the Sure Grip rear with 3.91 gears. True, it will be getting under 20 mpg on the highway, but muscle cars aren't known for their economy.

Listen folks, why all the hype....? Have you seen the price of gas, did you know the srt runs on preemo fuel only? Heres the solution...buy my 1967 Barracuda with the awesome power of a late 60's 225 slant six for about a quarter of the price and enjoy trouble free cruising in a car that won't be a twin to all the rest on the road.
