Just an FYI for those of you who would like to order a 2009 Challenger. As of May 12 the ordering process is under way for 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T and SRT8 models. Yes you heard me right, you can order a 2009 Dodge Challenger at your local Dodge stealership. If you are curious about price most dealers are selling them for MSRP and even cheaper. Below I have added the .pdf file for the 2009 order guide. Let me know in the comments if you place your order.

I priced one today (July 10) for 09, Orange, 5.7 Hemi with 5spd and leather. Option list 27J. The RT Classic does not seem to be available yet. The RT Classic adds a few more options and body paint striping as standards. 2 levels of radio are available plus a MyGig option. With only sound package II, no sunroof and no GPS navigation, the MSRP was $35,867. Delivery in about 10-12 weeks. The 6.1 Hemi will begin about $42K which includes a $1,700 fuel penalty. At least the dodge dealers are not adding a big mark up to these cars which has killed many other newly minted performance cars like the Ford GT, Mustang 500, etc. Maybe it is only the ford dealers that are greedy idiots.

That would be 10-12 weeks from the end of July? They are’t starting production until then. In fact the plant is shut down until then

I ordered mine just this week from Dwayne Lane’s Dodge in Everett, WA. Fully loaded with all options, (except engine block heater & hood strip) R/T, automatic. Salesman indicated it could be as early as October or as late as January…can hardly wait! I signed off on paying straight MSRP, $38,045 before state sales tax.
